The HyESS-R HS-UNIT adopts 30 MPa hydrogen storage pressure One single set of HyESS-R HS-UNIT could contain 16 X 50L hydrogen cylinders , which estimate to store about 240 Nm hydrogen3(Hydrogen mass is about 21kg), 1 X max, 30MPa hydrogen compressor and 4 X 50L hydrogen buffer cylinders .The hydrogen storage capacity can be rapidly expanded through multiple hydrogen cylinders bundles in parallel, and the maximum expansion can reach 5 hydrogen bundles (80 cylinders ).
Once the HyESS-R HS-UNIT connected with the hydrogen production system, the hydrogen is first flushed into a 50L buffer bottle with a pressure of about 3 MPa; then the hydrogen enters the booster pump from the buffer tank, and the booster pump fills the hydrogen into the storage tank and pressurizes it to 30MPa. The control system will judge by the pressure sensor at the outlet of the buffer bottle and control the start and close of the booster pump. It would also control partial valve closure to ensure that hydrogen is pressurized and filled in accordance with the predetermined line. If the HyESS-R HS-UNIT is connected to the fuel cell system, the control system will allow the gas in the hydrogen high-pressure cylinders to enter the fuel cell system on a predetermined route through the secondary decompression and valve opening and closing.
