On the morning of April 8, 2021, the Inaugural Meeting and First General Assembly of the "Zhongguancun Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Technology Innovation Industry Alliance" was officially convened at the Beijing Friendship Hotel. The event was attended by over 150 representatives from relevant national ministries and commissions, municipal government departments, industry organizations and institutions, the Alliance's Expert Committee, and its member entities. As a member entity of the Alliance, HuaDe Hydrogen Energy participated in the day's inaugural meeting.
The Zhongguancun Hydrogen Energy and Fuel Cell Technology Innovation Industry Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the "Alliance") is a non-profit social organization with legal entity status, established in accordance with the law. Operating under the mandate and guidance of the Administrative Committee of the Zhongguancun Science Park and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Civil Affairs, the Alliance was voluntarily co-initiated by over 60 enterprises, universities, and research institutes—including Yihuatong, Tsinghua University, Beijing Institute of Technology, the SPIC Research Institute, GRINM Research Institute, the National Energy Group Beijing Low-Carbon Institute, and BAIC Foton—drawn from the hydrogen energy and fuel cell sectors across Beijing and the wider nation.
During the General Assembly, attendees reviewed and approved the report on the Alliance's preparatory work, the Alliance Charter, and the election procedures for the General Assembly. Through a voting process, the Assembly elected the Alliance's first Board of Directors and Board of Supervisors, as well as the Alliance's leadership team—headed by Zhang Guoqiang, Chairman of Yihuatong, who was elected as the Alliance's inaugural Chairman of the Board.
