Seasonal Energy Sequestration
During periods of high solar production, the system utilizes a high-efficiency PEM electrolyzer to convert surplus electricity into hydrogen. This hydrogen is safely stored at 30MPa (high-pressure). Unlike batteries, this chemical energy storage suffers virtually zero loss over months, effectively "locking in" summer sunshine for winter use.
Dual-Stage Response Mechanism
The HyESS-R integrates a hybrid "Hydrogen + Battery" logic. A battery buffer handles short-term, high-frequency load fluctuations, while the fuel cell module acts as the long-duration powerhouse. When solar output is insufficient for extended periods, the system precisely converts stored hydrogen back into stable electricity to maintain the home’s energy continuity.
Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Integration
Beyond electricity, the system captures the thermal energy generated during power conversion to deliver a stable 60°C heat supply. This thermal output integrates seamlessly with the home’s underfloor heating or domestic hot water systems, maximizing resource efficiency through cascaded energy use.
