The Efficiency Gap in Conventional Home Heating
In most modern homes, electricity and heating operate in silos. Traditional energy models rely on the external power grid for electricity and conventional gas boilers for heat. This setup has a fundamental efficiency bottleneck: burning natural gas in a standard boiler only generates heat, missing the opportunity to capture high-value electricity during the conversion process. Furthermore, users are vulnerable to rising grid tariffs and transmission losses, while standard boilers contribute significantly to a home's carbon footprint.
