Fuel Cell Combined Heat & Power (CHP) System /  Stationary Fuel Cell Power Generator
 
Fuel cell CHP system produces electricity (Power) and useful thermal energy (Heat) at a higher efficiency than could be attained by producing them independently. CHP system is not a single technology, but an energy system of individual components that work together to generate electricity and to produce heat that can be utilized in a process.With CHP system on-site power production, losses are minimized and heat that would otherwise be wasted is applied to facility loads in the form of process heating, steam, hot water, or even chilled water.

Fuel cell CHP system is a decentralized, energy-efficient method of heat and electricity production. Fuel cell CHP system can be located in an individual building or facility, or they can produce energy for a district or a utility.

Fuel cell CHP system produces both electricity and heat and does so using less fuel compared to other energy plants. Plus, it captures heat and steam to generate additional power, further lowering the need for fuel.CHP system is an on-site energy plant, so it lowers reliance on the energy grid and can deliver higher energy security and electricity production reliability even in a disaster or grid disruption.

1- hydrogen production by reforming fossil energy represented by coal and natural gas;


2- coke oven gas, chlor-alkali tail gas, propylene dehydrogenation as the representative of industrial byproduct gas hydrogen production;
