On October 31, 2022, Jiangsu HuaDe Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. was designated as a "Technology-based Small and Medium-sized Enterprise."

Technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are defined as entities that rely on a dedicated team of technical personnel to engage in scientific and technological research and development activities. By securing independent intellectual property rights and translating them into high-tech products or services, these SMEs achieve sustainable growth; they are, fundamentally, knowledge-intensive economic entities.


HuaDe Hydrogen Energy has consistently placed a strong emphasis on technological R&D, with over 80% of its workforce comprising research and development personnel. Since its inception in 2018, the company has focused exclusively on the R&D of hydrogen fuel cell combined heat and power (CHP) systems. To date, it has secured 30 valid patents, including 12 invention patents. These independently developed intellectual assets have been successfully transformed into commercial products. Currently, the company has successfully developed two major product lines: the natural gas reforming-based hydrogen fuel cell CHP system (H2ES series) and the pure hydrogen fuel cell CHP system (CARNEU series). The H2ES series has been deployed in numerous demonstration projects across China and has successfully penetrated overseas markets, with sales established in Europe. Meanwhile, the CARNEU series is scheduled to complete the delivery of its first pure-hydrogen unit in December 2022.
