High Power | HuaDe Hydrogen Energy Completes Development of 100 kW Hydrogen Fuel Cell Cogeneration System

Recently, the CARNEU-100—a 100 kW hydrogen fuel cell combined heat and power (CHP) system jointly developed by Jiangsu HuaDe Hydrogen Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and the Yangtze River Delta Branch of Jingneng Technology—completed its commissioning. Its operational data has been simultaneously integrated into the Yangtze River Delta Branch's Smart Energy Management Platform, successfully achieving full-load operation.


“"Hydrogen" investment intention



This system represents the company's first self-developed, hundred-kilowatt-class fuel cell combined heat and power (CHP) system. Unlike the low-power residential models the company has traditionally prioritized, this specific model is designed for industrial and commercial CHP as well as hydrogen energy storage applications, offering significantly greater power generation and heat supply capabilities.
A single CARNEU-100 unit delivers a maximum electrical output of 100 kW and a thermal output of 95 kW; operating with a return water temperature differential of 20°C, it can supply 4 tons of hot water per hour. Its overall efficiency reaches up to 90%.
The system's modular design facilitates rapid parallel integration to achieve megawatt-scale configurations, thereby catering to larger-scale user requirements. It stands as a pivotal product in the company's strategy to realize "hydrogen-electricity coupling."



Accompanied various leaders from Jingneng Technology on a tour of the workshop and inspected the fuel cell combined heat and power system.
