Huade Hydrogen Energy has successfully completed the production and commissioning of a HyESS-R residential hydrogen-electric energy storage system, which is now en route to the customer's site in Austria. This project marks the official entry of the HyESS-R system into the Austrian market; the company will continue to monitor the project's installation and operation, further advancing the practical application of hydrogen energy storage technology in European residential energy settings.

The delivered HyESS-R system is an integrated hydrogen-electric energy storage solution designed by Huade Hydrogen Energy for residential and small-scale commercial applications. It combines hydrogen production, storage, power generation, and energy management into a single unit, enabling long-duration storage and stable output of green energy, thereby providing users with a more independent, safe, and low-carbon energy solution.
To meet European users' demands for energy independence and high reliability, the project utilizes an all-in-one, high-capacity storage design. By highly integrating core functional modules, the system significantly simplifies on-site installation, enabling a "plug-and-play" experience. Compared to traditional split-type systems, the HyESS-R not only reduces on-site construction complexity and commissioning time but also enhances overall system stability and space utilization efficiency, making it ideally suited for deployment in European residential and distributed energy scenarios. Furthermore, the system's design and manufacturing fully comply with relevant Austrian and European regulations and safety standards—adhering strictly to local requirements regarding electrical safety, explosion-proof design, and operational protocols—thereby ensuring stable operation and long-term application in the European market.
As Europe’s energy transition progresses, the residential energy storage market is experiencing rapid growth. Compared to traditional battery-based storage, hydrogen energy storage offers longer storage cycles, greater energy independence, and superior seasonal storage capabilities; it effectively addresses issues such as the seasonal imbalance of photovoltaic power generation—characterized by summer surpluses and winter deficits—and is emerging as a key development direction for European residential energy systems. Moving forward, Huade Hydrogen Energy will continue to deepen the global promotion and application of its HyESS-R series products, constantly enhancing product performance and system integration capabilities. By joining forces with global partners, the company aims to drive the large-scale adoption of green hydrogen energy across more households and distributed energy scenarios.
